We are going to highlight the best beers we have from week to week at the end of the month. When you stop in the store we would love to hear what you’re drinking from the bars in town to any of the breweries you have been visiting!
The 5 Best Beers we drank in January
1. Free Will Salted Carmel Ralphius
Barrel aged Russian Imperial Stout, 15.6% ABV – This barrel aged stout series from Free Will has been out of this world. This beer was aged in fleur de sel and carmel, creating a chewy mouthfeel swirled with caramel notes
2. Peak Organic Brewing Super Fresh
Imperial Pilsner, 7.6% ABV – Super fresh was one of our favorite beers back in 2016 until Peak decided to discontinue it. After a lot of fans asking for them to bring it back, they finally did in 2019! Super Fresh is Fresh Cut’s assertive big brother. A wicked dry-hopped pilsner. Dripping with juicy, citrus hop character, this beer is a blast of deliciousnous.
3. Fonta Flora Freaks the Clips
Farmhouse Ale Saison, 5.2% ABV – This beer coming all the way from Moganton, North Carolina made with local ginger, fresh grapefruit, smoked paprika, & salt. If you love saisons like we do, then this beer is a must have!
4. Alesmith Speed Way Stout
Imperial Stout, 12% – This is a huge imperial stout with loads of coffee adding that extra kick that makes this beer taste so good!
5. Equilibrium x The Answer Can it All Be So Simple
Double IPA, 8.2% ABV – Equilibrium is one of our favorite breweries on the east coast! Pumping out some of the best juice bomb IPAs we have had. That’s why we were so excited to host them back in October and can’t wait for them to come back. This collab with The Answer was brewed with galaxy and mosaic. It pours a hazy tangerine orange and releases bright notes of pineapple and blueberry with an aroma that mirrors the balanced and drinkable taste.
