Best Beers We had during February

February was a bad month to be a beer! Was able to try a lot of different beers that came into the store, beer shares, and at one of our favorite beer festivals, Kennet Winter Fest! Take a look at the best beers we had in February below

The 5 Best Beers We had in February

Half Acre

1. Half Acre TOME
New England Pale Ale, 5.5% – A new addition to Half Acre’s year round lineup. This beer pops with citra, mosaic, Idaho 7 and centennial. I was able to score a can from our sales rep before they released this beer in our market. This has the potential of being our new favorite hazy pale ale.

2. Prairie Vanilla Noir
Imperial Stout, 11% – Vanilla Noir is Prairie Noir aged on organic, fair trade vanilla beans, and let’s just say it takes a lot of beans! The vanilla flavor compliments the whiskey barrel aging process and adds a delicious layer to the beer.

Grimm
3. Grimm Telekinesis
Sour, 5.3% – Telekinesis is a hoppy, tart, and smashable kettle sour. Mosaic, Citra, and Falconer’s Flight contribute peachy & tropical hop character while our no-boil process leaves a puckering hint of raw sourdough.

Perennial
4. Perennial Artisan Ales Fantastic Voyage
Imperial Stout, 11.5% – Perennial combined a smooth yet strong imperial milk stout base with a heap of dried coconut in the whirlpool. The result is a luscious blend of bakers chocolate, subtle roast, and sweet coconut.

Forest and Main

5. Forest and Main Ghost Marius (Plum and Cherry)
Saison, 6% – A Barrel AgedSaison conditioned on second use cherries from Marius, and 400lbs of fresh Three Springs Farms plums.

I can already tell you March is shaping up to be another crazy month for beer! Lots of Other Half, Equilibrium, New Trail, 450 North, and many others! Cant wait to share next month what we have been drinking. Cheers
