Kennett Winterfest: Craft Beer Lovers Only
If you love craft beer, February 28th just got a lot more interesting. Kennett Winterfest XIV is coming to Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, and it’s shaping up to be one of the best editions yet. We’re talking over 60 breweries, 150+ beers to try, live music, local food, and a community vibe that keeps people coming back year after year. Oh, and we have tickets to give away — but more on that in a minute.
What Is Kennett Winterfest?
Kennett Winterfest is an annual outdoor craft beer festival held in the heart of Kennett Square, PA, hosted by the Kennett Collaborative. Now in its 14th year, this beloved winter tradition draws around 1,500 attendees for an afternoon of craft beer sampling, live music, local food vendors, and genuine small-town community spirit.
What makes Kennett Winterfest stand out from other beer festivals is the combination of curation and cause. The breweries invited aren’t just filling space — they represent some of the best craft operations across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and beyond. And every ticket sold supports Kennett Collaborative’s year-round community programming, including the KSQ Farmers Market, Third Thursdays events, and the Holiday Light Parade that makes Kennett Square shine.
It’s a craft beer festival that actually gives back.

Live Music All Day
The entertainment lineup at this year’s Kennett Winterfest matches the energy of the beer list. Three acts will keep the festival moving from start to finish.
Blank Pages (Opening Act)
Blank Pages kicks things off with the kind of set that reminds you why live music and outdoor events were made for each other. Based in Newark, DE, this band blends blues-rock roots with polished pop-rock — catchy hooks, melodic guitar riffs, and a live show full of personality and humor. They’ve sold out The Queen in Wilmington and earned repeat invites to the Manayunk StrEAT Food Festival. Get there on time and grab a beer before they start. You’ll thank yourself.
Delco Donny (Mid-Day)
If you’ve spent any time on TikTok in the past year, you may already know Delco Donny. Viral sensation Jake Dillon — the man behind the character — built a massive following through pop-up concerts in Wawa parking lots and other gloriously on-brand Delaware County locations. His set is equal parts music and comedy, powered by thick Delco accent energy and crowd sing-alongs you won’t see coming. This one is going to be a highlight of the day whether you’re a fan already or discovering him for the first time at Winterfest.
The Tisburys (Headline Act)
Headlining Kennett Winterfest XIV is The Tisburys, a Philadelphia-based indie rock and power-pop band that’s earned their reputation as one of the most electrifying live acts in the region. Since forming in 2015, they’ve been named Artists to Watch on WXPN 88.5, featured on Steven Van Zandt’s Underground Garage, and have shared stages with The War on Drugs, Gin Blossoms, Drive-By Truckers, Jenny Lewis, and Neon Trees. Their high-energy closing set is going to be the perfect send-off to an already stacked afternoon.
Food That Holds Up to the Beer List
This is a craft beer festival, which means you’re going to be on your feet, sampling all afternoon, and you need food that can keep up. Kennett Winterfest’s vendor lineup delivers:
Claymont Steak Shop — cheesesteak royalty from just over the Delaware border. If you know, you know.
Dia Doce Cupcakes — something sweet to balance all that roasted malt.
Hardy Funnel Cakes — a festival classic that never gets old.
Humpty’s Dumplings — perfect for pairing with something bold and hoppy.
Mayday Coffee Shop — because some of us need a mid-festival coffee reset.
Tom’s Hand Crafted Pizza Cones — pizza in cone form, which is exactly the kind of innovation craft beer culture inspires.
Zach’s Street Grill — hearty, satisfying street food to fuel you through the second half of the afternoon.
Come hungry. Seriously.
Extra Stuff That Makes It Special
Beyond the beer and music, Kennett Winterfest XIV has a few extra elements worth knowing about:
Best Dressed Contest — Show up in your best festival costume or Winterfest gear and you might walk away with something extra to go along with the memories.
Best Snacklace Contest — If you’ve never seen a snacklace, you’re in for a treat. Start planning yours now.
Homebrew Demo — A nod to where craft beer culture comes from. Watch the process up close and maybe pick up some inspiration for your own brewing adventures.
These little additions are part of what makes Kennett Winterfest feel different from bigger, more corporate beer events. There’s personality here.
