Brewery Spotlight – New Trail Brewing Company, Williamsport Pennsylvania
Over the last year, New Trail Brewing Company has quickly become one of favorite breweries in Pennsylvania. Focusing heavily on New England IPAs but also creating awesome stouts, sours, and pilsners. The brewery loves the idea of being outdoors and that’s why most of their beer names follow that moto. Their moto on their website says it best “New Trail Brewing Co was created for the betterment of craft beer. We wanted to brew beers we wanted to drink while enjoying the great beauties of North Central Pennsylvania. Come join our adventure.” Count us in on that adventure!
We can’t get enough of the beers from these guys. Take a look at some of our favorite
Barrel Aged Moonlit (Black Wax) is an Imperial Stout brewed with an assortment of Dark Malts complemented with a base of English Pale malts. Aged for many moons in Buffalo Trace Bourbon and Maple Bourbon Barrels. Lightly carbonated for a more full experience. Expect big chocolate and rich roast complemented by deep barrel character.
Double Broken Heels is our Hazy IPA, Broken Heels, with more malt and hops to make it a Hazy Double IPA. Brewed with oats and hopped with a mix of our favorite American hops including Citra & Mosaic. Expect the same Broken Heels you know and love, but more…
Flannel Weather is a New Zealand Style Hazy Double IPA. Brewed with oats and Germanic malts. Heavy handedly hopped with Nelson Sauvin and complimented with hops from that region. Expect high notes of fleshy fruits, white grape, and a balanced dankness. Stay warm with us during this Flannel Season.
In October of 2019 we were able to hang with some of the New Trail team in Colorado at Great American Beer Festival. Share some beers, good times, and was able to watch them Win a Gold Medal for their Lazy River Pils. Lazy River Pils is a German style pils with an American Twist. This is a great beer to be drank all year round!
During the month of March, New Trail is our Brewery of the Month! Broken Heels, Lazy River Pils, and SOB Hill will all be on sale. Grab yourself a 4pk, 6pk, or case and have yourself a weekend!
