Pennsylvania breweries to watch in 2026

2025 was a tough year for breweries across the country. We saw a wave of closures, beer consumption declined nationally, and prices still haven’t fully come down. For many producers, staying relevant now means getting more creative than ever—finding new ways to bring people into taprooms and keep their beers exciting on store shelves. Still, last year wasn’t all bad. In fact, several Pennsylvania breweries to watch in 2026 either opened or broke out in ways that genuinely got people excited about drinking beer again. Through standout releases, thoughtful branding, and growing momentum on social media, these producers made a real impact in 2025. Whether you’re hunting for limited drops or discovering new favorites, these are the breweries—and one brand—that should be firmly on your radar heading into 2026.

Threat Beer Company

West Chester, PA

Threat Beer Company built massive hype in 2025 through social media and Untappd. They initially started by giving cans away while waiting on their official license, finally beginning sales in fall 2025—and since then, it’s been nonstop demand.

Their cans are rating through the roof. Threat currently holds an average Untappd rating of 4.6 out of 5, which is almost unheard of. So far, they’ve focused heavily on big hazy DIPAs, and people can’t get enough.

That excitement comes with a catch: Threat is one of the hardest breweries to get cans from. Weekly releases sell out within seconds. Best advice? Turn on Instagram post notifications so you’re first to know when drops go live.

Threat is also taking a unique approach with no taproom. Orders are placed online, with Saturday pickups from 8 a.m. to noon—a model that doesn’t look like it’s changing anytime soon.

Space Cadet Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Space Cadet

Philadelphia, PA

Space Cadet first caught my attention in late 2024 when Richie invited me onto his podcast, BrewedAt, and shared his plans to open a brewery. While he doesn’t yet have a physical taproom, he’s been contracting out his beers—and the response has been extremely positive.

His recipes have gained a lot of love from our customers. Releases so far have focused on approachable IPAs and pilsners, keeping things simple, clean, and highly drinkable. I’m hopeful that 2026 is the year Space Cadet finally opens a taproom of its own.

SgraffitoSgraffito Beer Philadelphia, PA

Philadelphia, PA

Sgraffito [skrah-fee-tow] entered the scene at Logjammin in 2025, and it immediately caught my attention. After one look at their Instagram, I slid straight into their DMs to see if we could get cans into the Beermill.

At the time, they didn’t have any available—but once they did, Scott and Ariel made sure we got them as soon as possible.

So far, Sgraffito has released just one beer: Convivium, an Italian Pilsner that is incredibly clean and well-executed. Their branding is just as sharp—minimal, eye-catching, and nearly impossible to ignore on the shelf.

If you’re a pilsner fan, this is a must-try. I’m very excited to see what Sgraffito releases in 2026.

Not PizzaNot Pizza Vodka Drink

Pottstown, PA

Not Pizza isn’t a brewery, but it absolutely deserves a spot on this list.

Not Pizza is a canned cocktail brand that became new to the Beermill in 2025 after a customer asked if we carried it. One quick look was all it took to see what the hype was about—strong branding, great social media presence, and, most importantly, real people behind the brand.

Chris and Luke quickly became friends of the Beermill, hosting some of the most fun samplings we’ve ever had in-store. They’re also some of the most entertaining people to watch work, constantly creating content—from music videos of songs they write, to skits, to everyday behind-the-scenes moments (which I’ve even appeared in a few times).

They’ve clearly found their lane and operate like they’ve been in the industry for years. Big things are coming from them in 2026.

Wishful Thinking BrewingWishful Thinking

Bethlehem, PA

Wishful Thinking opened in 2024, but I had to include them since we started carrying their beers in 2025. This was easily one of my favorite new breweries I visited last year.

Lagers, IPAs, and pizza—Wishful Thinking nails all three. The space has a cozy, dive-bar feel, the staff is great, and the menu is simple but extremely well done. Honestly, the pizza alone is worth the trip.

Owner Brendan is also a West Chester local, growing up just a few blocks from the store. Their Wet-Hopped Sense of Source Lager was probably my favorite beer of 2025, and I can’t wait to see it return in fall 2026.

Cheers,

Dave & the Beermill Crew
